The bright and airy ground floor is clad in timber and granite, welcoming you with the instant warmth of a mountain lodge. The spacious fitted kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals, which can be savoured together at the large table. Outside the baita there are plenty of nooks to explore. Which will be your favourite? Maybe you’ll enjoy the nature pool, situated just a few metres from La Granda? Or you might prefer spending your time by the barbecue, listening to the crackling of the flames? Or maybe you’ll feel most at ease in the woods, under the trees that looked on silently as we rebuilt this mountain outpost? Those very trees would be able to tell you that the granite used to clad this baita was recovered from the old farmstead which, until a few years ago, was found in this meadow.
