Discover our larch-scented baita, a traditional mountain lodge set in the midst of a meadow and surrounded by woodland tranquillity. We’ve named it “La Piciola” – a local word for “small”. Built on the foundations of a former mountain outpost from local wood, with careful appreciation of the unique and fantastic natural scenery that surrounds it, La Piciola was primarily designed for couples, although it can sleep up to three people.

Our aim is to provide you with an authentic Dolomite holiday, with a few extra comforts thrown in. The kitchen features a traditional wood oven, but also a convenient electric oven. For the ultimate pampering touch, there is an infrared sauna – the perfect way to relax after a day spent exploring the Brenta Dolomites. Evenings at La Piciola are always special, whether you prefer to gaze up at the star-filled skies, warmed by the flames of a barbecue while listening to the Algone river as it races along, or would rather snuggle up on our cosy sofa with your favourite book, savouring the silence that can only be found in the mountains.
